有时候翻译已不再是"翻译",是在目的语和文化中寻找类似情形下功能对等的说法: 1)一点小意思,不是什么好东西 = Here we have a gift for you. We hope you’ll like it.(字面意思:It’s merely a small gift. It’s nothing valuable.); 2)让你破费了= Oh,thanks, thank you so much. I really really appreciate it.(字面意思: Oh, it must have cost you a lot of money.)
