4) Slowly pull the starter cord until you feel resistance. Then pull rapidly.
Note:Do not release the starter cord too quickly after pulling it out. Let the cord go slowly as releasing it rapidly damage the starter,.
5) If you use the choke to start the engine, turn the throttle trigger into the "High" position after starting the engine.
6) The engine warms up faster if the throttle trigger is not in the "Choke" position.
Note:The throttle trigger should be in the "High" position while working with the mower.
Flooding the engine
If the engine does not start after pulling the starter cord a few times, the engine will flood. In this case you will need to proceed as follows:
1) Turn the throttle trigger into the "Stop" position and turn the fuel tap to "Off".
2) Unscrew and dry the spark plug. Screw the spark plug back. When installing the spark plug, tighten the plug by hand and then by a further 1/4of a turn with a spark plug wrench.
3) Open the fuel tap ("ON"), turn the throttle trigger to the "High" position and attempt starting the engine according to the instructions above.
Stopping the engine
1) Slowly move the throttle trigger to "Low". 2) Release the lever on the handle.
3) Close the fuel filter ("Off")
