转帖 2005年9月27日，刚刚成立的英国皇家特许语言学家学会（Chartered Institute of Linguists）授予英国翻译协会（Institute of Translation and Interpreting -ITI）主席、欧洲议会成员Diana Wallis第一荣誉会员称号。颁证仪式在英国伦敦的外国和英联邦事务办公室举行，皇家特许语言学家学会的监护人肯特郡迈克亲王出席 了仪式。 Diana Wallis在颁证仪式上发表了讲话，内容如下： "能够成为注册语言学家首名荣誉会员，我深感荣幸，同时也倍觉惭愧。在我从事律师职业以及从政的生涯中，语言一直在我生活中占较大比重，但我决不会自诩为一名职业语言学家。因此，我接受这一荣誉是与我作为英国翻译协会主席的身份相符的，是代表我们协会里所有职业语言学家的。对于皇家特许语言学家学会和英国翻译协会的成员而言，获得皇家特许代表我们取得了长足的进步，充分说明翻译职业终于获得了应有的认可。我们两个组织在这一关键的时刻应该携手共进。 我作为律师，现在又作为一名欧洲政治家，长期以来一直使用语言服务。我太了解语言学家们没有获得适当的认可和评价；皇家特许使我们向这一目标靠近了一步。" 新闻稿原文 Languages have been a large part of my life both as a lawyer and a politician but I would never pretend to be a professional linguist. That is why my acceptance of this honour is very much in my role as the President of ITI and therefore on behalf of all our members who work as professional linguists. For members of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting the attainment of a Royal Charter represents a huge advance and delivers richly deserved recognition of the profession. It is apt that our institutes should be seen to be moving forward together at this key moment. 背景资料 ITI The Institute of Translation & Interpreting was founded in 1986 as the only independent professional association of practising translators and interpreters in the United Kingdom. It is now one of the primary sources of information on these services to government, industry, the media and the general public. With its aim of promoting the highest standards in the profession, ITI serves as a meeting place for all those who understand the importance of translation and interpreting to the economy and society, particularly with the expansion of a single European market of over forty languages and the growth of worldwide communications. | Re.31省区市新增确诊17例 含本土3例 发表于2020/12/15 10:34:00 今天，国家卫生健康委员会公布了最新疫情数据。12月14日0—24时，31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增确诊病例17例，其中境外输入病例14例（四川5例，内蒙古4例，上海3例，北京1例，广东1例），本土病例3例（黑龙江2例，四川1例）；无新增死亡病例；无新增疑似病例。 当日新增治愈出院病例18例，解除医学观察的密切接触者1134人，重症病例与前一日持平。 境外输入现有确诊病例262例（其中重症病例5例），现有疑似病例2例。累计确诊病例4049例，累计治愈出院病例3787例，无死亡病例。 截至12月14日24时，据31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告，现有确诊病例312例（其中重症病例7例），累计治愈出院病例81812例，累计死亡病例4634例，累计报告确诊病例86758例，现有疑似病例2例。累计追踪到密切接触者888359人，尚在医学观察的密切接触者6852人。 31个省（自治区、直辖市）和新疆生产建设兵团报告新增无症状感染者8例（均为境外输入）；当日转为确诊病例3例（境外输入2例）；当日解除医学观察6例（均为境外输入）；尚在医学观察无症状感染者196例（境外输入183例）。 累计收到港澳台地区通报确诊病例8409例。其中，香港特别行政区7623例（出院6266例，死亡120例），澳门特别行政区46例（出院46例），台湾地区740例（出院606例，死亡7例）。
