知识经济时代的关键词就是“知识”。今天，人们关注的不仅仅是“知识”的数量、质量与价值，更关心“知识”的生成、创新与运用，它已成为推动社会发展的最主要因素之一。由此，关于“知识”的世界观与方法论的研究，已引起了国内外学者的广泛关注，并进而形成了一个研究领域——知识科学。在这个领域里，知识工程、知识服务、知识系统等新名词层出不穷，人们对知识发现、知识管理、知识传播、知识应用以及知识生态等方方面面进行了探索。本文首先综述了知识科学的发展由来，详细分析了近年来知识科学的主要研究进展及存在的问题，最后对知识科学的发展趋势进行了展望。

Nowadays, what people pay attention to not only the quantity, qulity and value of "knowledge", but also its making, innnovation and application, which has become a major factor in promoting the social growth. Therefore, the research on the world view and methodology concerning "knowledge" have attracted extensive attention of domestic and overseas learners and formed a study field——knowledge science. Within this field, on one hand, the new words of knowledge project,knowledge service, knowledge system come out one after, on the other other hand, we have made an exploration of the knowledge discovery, knowledge management, knowledge spreading, knowledge application, knowledge ecology and so on. At first,the article generally stated the origin and development of knowledge science, then anlysized its main research progresses and existent problems and finally talked about the future of the devevelopment direction of it.
