The key word is the “knowledge”in the knowledge-economic epoch .Today ,people concern about not only its quantity ,quality and value ,but also more concern about its creation , innovation and application .It have became the one of most important factors that promoting the society’s progresses . So, the scholars in home and overseas have extensive interest in the research on the Weltanschauung and Methodology of knowledge , and they have moved forward to form one systemic research area －Knowledge Science. In this area , such new nomenclature as Knowledge project, Knowledge Service and Knowledge System were emerged in endlessly . People also explore many areas ,such as knowledge discovery , management , spread , application and knowledge ecology .In this context, we outline the origination of knowledge development , anatomize recent major research progress of knowledge science, have prospect on the trend of knowledge science development .
