翻译中遇到新加坡一地名：榜鵝，苦思不解其意，后来终于在GOOGLE中找到共英文：Punggol，没有查中英文意思，维基定义如下：

这种译名，真是令人哭笑不得，也许那位译者当时正饿着肚子加班吧？呵呵。
BTW，新加坡的专有名词翻译整理得很好，是由新加坡华文媒介统一译名委员会建立（http://chineseterms.zaobao.com/chineseterms.html）。真希望中国也早日建成这样的平台，方便翻译的同时，也能提升翻译质量，增强外宣效果。
