July 14th, may be a normal day in many people's lives, but it was a special day for my friend, as her wedding ceremony was held in this day.
I am happy that I can spare my time to attend her wedding ceremony. We first met in our fisrst domitory when we came to the university and instantly we became very intimate to each other. Later we were placed in the same class and we became deskmates, even after the second time for grouping all the students, we were still in the same class and still deskmates. So we lived in the same dormitory for four years, and we were also deskmate for four years.
My friend and I have different characters. She is more lively, sociable and smarter, whereas I am somewhat introverted. However, from the beginning, I got good grades in my studies. Once my best college teacher talked to us, saying as deskmates, the gap in your studies was so large and told my friend to learn from me. She made rapid progress from then. We often went to the dining hall together and arrived at the class at the same time. We helped each other in our studies. I was happy to see that she had changed into a cultured and smart girl.
She mate her boyfriend at the English corner and he was attracted by her. And later they became couples, though with some difficulties when making the final decision became of their family background. I still remembe my friend cried over this matter and luckily, finally they decided to be together, as her boyfriend is such a good-natured and talented youth.
The wedding ceremony was held in the bridegroom's hometown in the traditional way. Someone in his village sevrved as the Master of Ceremony. They prayed to heaven and earth and to each other and the bridegroom's parents, and gived the parents' some sugar to eat and got the red parcels from them. They were several revered people who made some short speeches during the ceremony.
Then we went to the reception and dined together. We several friends took some pictures with my friend the bride. She looked so beautiful and lovely this day. I wish her happiness from the bottom of my heart.
