八仙过海，各显神通——like the Eight Immortals crossing the sea,each showing his or her special prowess——people doing the same job,but each in his own special way,and each doing it well.
异曲同工——different tunes sung with equal skill——different approaches but equally satisfactory results.
一唱一和——one sings,the other harmonizes——sing the same tune/echo each other.
道高一尺，魔高一丈——the truth grows a foot high,the evil grows to ten/as virtue rises one foot,vice rises ten——the more illumination,the more temptation/where God has his church,the devil will have his chapel.
