A well-known Hong Kong billionaire has offered $65m (￡40m) to any man able to woo and marry his lesbian daughter.

香港一位知名的亿万富翁欲悬赏65，000，000美金，只求有男士娶走同性恋女儿。

Property and shipping tycoon Cecil Chaopublicly promised the "marriage bounty" after reports emerged thathis daughter had wed her long-term girlfriend.

香港地产与船运界巨富赵世曾在得知自己女儿与其女友结婚的消息后，公开宣布为女儿“悬赏征婚”

Mr Chao, who has never married himself,told the BBC his daughter was still single and needed a "good husband".

至今还是单身的赵先生对BBC表示，他的女儿还是单身，需要一位“好老公”。

Same-sex unions are not recognised inHong Kong, although homosexuality was decriminalised in 1991.

虽然早在1991年，同性婚姻在香港已经合法化，但这一做法仍然无法得到大众的认可。

Gigi Chao, a business woman and graduate from the University of Manchester, is said to have married her female partner of seven years, Sean Eav, in a ceremony in France earlier this year.

目前从业于商界，毕业于曼彻斯特大学的赵式芝，今年早些时候在法国宣布她与共处七年的女友楊如芯结婚的消息。

But her flamboyant father rejected theclaims as false, adding that his generous offer had already generated manyreplies from potential suitors.

但是她高调的父亲却不承认女儿的这桩“婚事”，并表示“高赏之下必有勇夫”，目前已收到很多求婚者的回复。

"It is an inducement to attractsomeone who has the talent but not the capital to start his own business,"Mr Chao said.

"I don’t mind whether he is rich orpoor. The important thing is that he is generous and kind-hearted.

“我不在乎他有没有钱，重要的是他得大度和善良。”

"Gigi is a very good woman withboth talents and looks. She is devoted to her parents, is generous and doesvolunteer work."

“式芝是个才貌双全的好女孩，她孝顺父母，大方，还有善心。”

His public hunt for a husbandnotwithstanding, Mr Chao insisted he would not force his daughter to marry aman against her will.

虽然赵世曾为女儿公开征婚， 但是他也表示不会逼女儿嫁给她不愿意的男人。

Ms Chao said she found her father’s planentertaining and would not worry about it until an actual suitor had beenfound.

赵式芝女士称，她父亲的计划很有趣，只要还没有真正的求婚者出来再她面前，她就不会为此担忧。
