In Switzerland at least 3 people have been killed and 7 injured after a shooting attack at a wood processing factory near the city of Lucerne. Swiss police said the gunman is among the dead.

A man in New Zealand has died after being attacked by shark in a popular beach Northwest of Auckland. Police in the boat fired shots at the shark to drive it away and allow them to recover the man’s body.

And the Head of Mexico’s Teacher’s Union has been arrested on corruption charges. Elba Esther Gordillo, known as the most powerful woman, is accused of embezzling 160 million dollars in Union funds.
