"桂林山水甲天下"翻译多多，不知何者更好，笔者搜集一二，以供大家品评： "being unrivalled in the world"（无敌的），
"makes the rest of the world less attractive"（让其它风景相形见拙），
"the crown of all landscapes under heaven"（登上了第一名的宝座）；
"世界上最好的"有十几种表述方式，如"ranks the first under heaven"、"are the best in the world"、"are the finest under heaven"、"enjoys the reputation of best sight under heaven"、"finest mountains and rivers under heaven"、"supreme under the heaven"，
